Bio
Dr. Sharmistha Das is an attending physician at Vancouver General Hospital. Originally from Bangladesh, Dr. Das grew up in Vancouver and attended UBC, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology.
She then went on to earn her medical degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. She returned to Vancouver and completed both her Internal Medicine residency and General Internal medicine fellowship at UBC.
Currently, Dr. Das is involved in teaching both medical students and residents in inpatient and outpatient settings. Her current interests include point of care ultrasound and quality improvement.
