Bio

Dr. McKay is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan Medicine Program . She completed her Internal Medicine Residency with the UBC Post-Graduate Medicine Program, and worked as a community Internist in Nanaimo, BC, before joining the UBC Division of General Internal Medicine in 2002.

Dr. McKay has had a longstanding interest in the medical health of those with eating disorders, and serves as the Lead Internist for the Provincial Adult Eating Disorders Program. She has a side interest in Hypertension. Dr. McKay serves as the Associate Program Director for the Medicine Program at St. Paul’s Hospital. She is also one of the Associate Program Directors of the Postgraduate Internal Medicine Residency program, looking after the PGY Fourth Year. She loves attending on the CTU, and looks forward to teaching the trainees she works with.
