Born and raised in Thornhill, Ontario, he completed his undergraduate degree at York University and his medical degree at Queen’s University before relocating to British Columbia to complete his core Internal Medicine residency at UBC. He is actively involved with Doctors of BC through several committees related to physician billing & audit processes (including the Patterns of Practice Committee) and also teaches billing and practice management to GIM fellows (and staff physicians as well!).
