Bio
Dr. Matthew Brooks is a General Internist who attends CTU at both St Paul’s Hospital and Vancouver General Hospital. He completed his MD and core Internal Medicine training at the University of Ottawa. He went on to complete his General Internal Medicine fellowship at UBC.
He completed his Clinical Educator Fellowship at the Centre for Health Education Scholarship (CHES) at UBC and his Master of Health Professions Education (MHPE) at Maastricht University in the Netherlands.
He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the UBC Division of General Internal Medicine.
Research
Dr. Brooks’s research interests are within the field of medical education. These include self regulated learning, reflective learning and motivation in teaching.
