Bio
Dr. Thompson completed her MD undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta and relocated to BC to complete her core internal medicine residency, followed by a fellowship in general internal medicine. As part of her GIM fellowship, she completed one year of training in adult thrombosis medicine at UBC, graduating as the first UBC thrombosis medicine AFC candidate in 2025. She has recently joined the Division of Internal Medicine as a General Internist on the Clinical Teaching Unit (CTU) and Thrombosis Specialist in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
