Bio
Dr. Manhas practices at St Paul’s Hospital where he works as a General Internal Medicine Physician on the Clinical Teaching Unit and the inpatient and outpatient Thrombosis Service. He is a clinical instructor in the department of medicine at UBC.
He completed his MD undergraduate degree at the Northern Medical Program, and his core internal medicine and General internal medicine fellowship at UBC. He completed further training in Thrombosis both locally at UBC and in Ottawa.
Dr. Manhas has a particular interest in thromboprophylaxis in malignancy and hopes to work with the outpatient clinics in the future to develop an algorithm to help screen and manage these patients.
