Bio
Dr. Chen is a Clinical Instructor in UBC’s Division of General Internal Medicine. He completed his medical training including his MD, Internal Medicine Residency, and General Internal Medicine fellowship at UBC. He has a special interest in perioperative medicine, and completed the Perioperative Vascular Medicine training program at McMaster University.
Dr. Chen spends his clinical time on the inpatient Clinical Teaching Units at St. Paul’s Hospital, as well as the Perioperative Medicine consult service at both St. Paul’s Hospital and Vancouver General Hospital. He also participates in outpatient clinics at the SPH Internal Medicine Vascular Clinic focusing on optimization of risk factors in patients with vascular disease.
